Nav4 navigation course 2/3rd Nov

Just back from a weekend spent with Nav4 team in the Yorkshire Dales. Teaching some racing snakes and some slightly more chilled-out walkers the fundamentals of navigating.

Now looking at venues and places to base some courses down here......winter is calling and now is the time to act!!

Well, that was our year of spending time together and working on a plan for 2019. It's been an interesting journey! We have a Dr Em, new skills, two slightly older furries, older bodies, fitter bodies and still the same passion for living life! We have plans for 2019, attempting to live our days with a balance and a love for what we do and each other....

After a week of hard intense work, Aven and I stepped up to the Stage 2 search dog test on Sunday. 

I have great faith in her, but still I had to silence a few butterflies....

Together we've been progressing along this journey, still with no expectations, I continue with my best furry mate. As long as she enjoys it...I will

                                              Just love running these 3....it's noisy though!

It's been a mucky old January and I have spent most of it, covered in this brown stuff and damp :)  The thing is, I quite like it and I'm not the only one! 

Looking forward to some perhaps colder, whiter conditions in the Lakes next week. #adventuredog is set to have her first real mountain experience....sharpen them claws chucky, we're going up!!

Been a while

Back to the dog running!  It's been a few months of gentle recovery, but glad to say that my running paws are now fit for adventures.
Got some Christmas pooch excesses to work off this month, so back hitting the trails with some of my fav hounds!
Whatever the weather, I've got a coat for it, those 4-legged friends love an adventure!
